The bottom can't be timed...Long-term holders are eating up circulating supplies in preparation for BTC 25K

I like crypto but hate Bitcoin.

I would maybe buy ETH at $100 if it had a single good dapp.

Cost of mining a single BTC is $6K...If historical ratios hold along with 6K BTC floor, days of $100 ETH may be gone. Like it or not, BTC is considered a commodity to which the entire crypto market is tied

Until there are dapps, Eth is riding Btc coattails. And if the whole currency idea never takes off at least Btc can hold value as a commodity/digital gold

Its not a commodity like oil that will find its price at the lowest marginal producer (even if it was, that could be in China at $3,000, not $6,000). Its price is whatever buyers and sellers determine, which could easily fall beneath production.

miners will stop production if they're no longer able to sell at a profit don't you think

This is what happened yesterday when we went sub 6k...they don't mine if it's not profitable. Any commodity can be sold for an agreed upon price below production cost. The utility of BTC is really the more questionable component of the equation.

Tether production conveniently kicks in when mining profitability declines.
