If you read over the email exchange, it sounds like the coins have gradually been getting sent over to Mercatox and sold. Bitgrail's owner is trying to play dumb but he knew what was up. At best, he wasn't transparent. At worst, he stole the coins.
Not really sure how Nano escapes this unscathed, though. Those stolen coins represent 10% of its total coin supply. They told people to buy their coins on bitgrail and prevented people from moving them off by not having a working wallet. |
