The relative size of the market is much larger, and there aren't that many more people to pull in to drive prices up. Now we're no longer in "early days"--at least not to nearly the same degree that we were a year ago, as measured by important metrics like market cap, public awareness, temporal proximity to regulation, etc.--and there are also more than 1,500 different coins, the vast vast majority of which are totally worthless and were grossly overinflated in their valuation and will frankly never recover. A lot of people feel in their gut that they're looking into the pit of a looming financial abyss from which there is no return, and most of them are absolutely right to be terrified and should liquidate immediately (even if they do so at a loss). |

That said, there are way too many shitcoins out there that don't deserve to be in the picture..They rightfully will collapse mightily. |
