I probably would never have gotten into metal gear if not for the twin snakes port. Animal crossing changed gaming. Yes, wind waker sucked. Twilight princess was like playing in a shoebox. Like how N64/PS1 graphics have their idiosyncracies. You correctly discern that the major franchises sucked and/or were rehashes. The indie games just don't stand up on their own unless you're trying to like them. Are you talking about Ikaruga, Monkey Ball, I mean what exactly? Just the hardware? Just don't bring up fake exclusives like RE4 is all I ask. On a personal note, I just don't enjoy the way that history has Ravaged the N64 and propped up Gamecube. The N64 was the most fun device ever Engineered. |
