Iran’s Supreme National Security Council says the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless the U.S. agrees to the following terms:

- End all threats against Iran

- End military action against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq

- End the naval blockade and withdraw U.S. naval and air forces from around Iran

- Fully compensate Iran for damages caused during the two wars

- Lift sanctions imposed on Iran

- Unconditionally release frozen Iranian assets
