I received a tremendous amount of life advice as a younger man, about many things other than how fast time flies by, and I listened to much of it, to my benefit. At the same time, I was well aware that tempus fugit and that I was having some once in a lifetime experiences in college, and I worked very hard to take full advantage of them.
Got a lot of great memories as a result. |

I distinctly remember feeling like the chicks there were absolute dogs for the most part almost 3 decades ago even being from a small, shit town in the South and never having traveled much of anywhere because of circumstances back then.
I know I'm fucking old, but I still keep in shape and I saw some legit talent and a couple of what I call hard 8.5's to 9's which is basically top tier for me subjectively. The power of youth and that brightness in their eyes in just alluring. |

Current students are a lot browner than 25 years ago. The once dominant UMC white demographic is probably no more than 25% if that. Maybe 15-20%? Huge Asian presence.
The white girls are split between normal looking nicely dressed and mannered intelligent people and burn down the machine girlbosses who'd crawl over broken glass for 20 miles before reporting a black/immigrant/Palestinian who assaulted them to the police in the name of justice. 20 years ago this latter group was no more than 1% of the girls on campus.

Most were destined to be UMC spouses with their own careers. Most went to grad / professional schools. None had tattoos. Most married well. I married one! I do remember the actual wannabe radicals. Those were different. But even those were softer than today's angry young women. Everyone was more realistic and honest in 2002 so the extremes didn't appeal and seemed ludicrous.
