I left two notes asking my downstairs neighbors to lower the volume. I can hear everything, and they're constantly blasting action movies, so my apartment felt like a war zone.
They were completely unresponsive. No response, no change. I finally left a note saying I'd start calling the police if it continued.
Still nothing.
So I switched tactics. I put my Sonos speakers directly on the floor and played a full 30-minute episode of a Latin comedy. Nonstop canned laughter.
Next day: YouTube war sounds.
Next day: Marilyn Manson.
That was literally all it took. Their volume is now magically reasonable.
Looks like they just needed a taste of their own medicine, ROTFL.
