Turkey should be carved during second quarter of the Lions game, dinner should start as meaningful second quarter action ends, and everyone should be able to finish pie or bring it to the TV before the end of the third quarter. 430 pm game and late game are for second plates and shifting to drinking/THCing heavily. Best practice is to have multiple other activities going for non football people like a card game and a separate board game or other activity along those lines.
