And then I graduated. I rewarded the generosity of California taxpayers and the Regents of U.C. with a 2.27 GPA — which for your listeners, Ross, is not very good.
Douthat: It’s above a 2.0.
Galloway: It’s above a 2.0. Yeah.

Galloway: It’s enough to graduate. They did give me the same diploma everyone else got. And this is the crazy part: Berkeley, arguably the finest public institution in America, let me in to graduate school.

obviously this will never happen but thinking about it as a thought experiment helps elucidate just how harmful and hostile these institutions are to america and americans |
