I like it more than the Aeron. The back is nicer than the canvassy Aerson back.
As others have said, you should go to a store and sit in the various chairs before buying. I got mine at a used office furniture store, which had lots of different chairs to try and was much cheaper than buying new. |

But then again it's also funny how certain brands just work for our specific needs or don't - for example I love how Birkenstocks make my body feel after a day on my feet (I'm gay in case I haven't made that clear by now) but other equally expensive brands supposedly made for similar support needs just don't work for me |

at a job in the 2000s, i had a steelcase chair from the 80s. it was perfectly functional and comfortable 20+ years later. they replaced chairs and i took the steelcase home. used it for another 10 years. |
