By the way, decided that I would try non-prescription shit since everything I read about blood pressure meds was laughably terrible. Just got L Theanine 200mg pills today, took 1 several hours ago and took my blood pressure: 122/78.

My next step was going to be mad honey (and still will be if this doesn't hold) but this is crazy shit. I haven't seen a reading like that in 15+ years.

Diet - I generally try not to overeat, avoid soft drinks and other American shitfood (no fast food, no twinkies or other junk food), drink alcohol only occasionally, but otherwise, I don't restrict myself too much.

Yes, though I need to increase this. I used to go to the gym 2x/week and last went a month ago. Work schedule + toddler have basically fucked this recently. I do walk a ton (consistently get 10k+ steps in daily). I'm also trying to get a home workout schedule going.

Gemini says I'll need to take another one later tonight or it'll spike and that the bad news is that it isn't long acting. The crazy thing is that I read that with my BP that I'll likely need several medications to get it under control.

I meant the bad ones. pulse rate and bp correlate. also if you took it while lifting weights it'd be like 200 over whatever. you should only take it at a proper resting hr imho.

Doesn't seem all that correlated. I have a 155/113 and 84bpm and a 155/108 and 72bpm. My highest bpm that I see is a 130/94 and 112bpm.

I admit that I don't make sure I've rested and done proper breathing and all that before testing. I'm not on prescription meds and really don't want to be so a rough ballpark is fine.

No there is no chance on an ARB or ACEII. They've been studied for decades. Peptides are going to lead to an explosion of cancers over the next decade.
