Date: October 16th, 2026 12:09 PM Author: Skank Foid Hmong Local news posts every death/obituary and most get 1 or 2 likes and no comments. I feel bad. They posted one the other day for a guy 98 years old. No obituary just a very terse death notice.
I posted:
"Sad. 98 is no age" which might be a regional phrase but it means they died too young. A little gallows humor. Posting into the void.
Well all these Karens and low-T gen-x men started tearing me down in the comments saying I'm not funny & and an asshole etc. But then since the post had so much activity it got seen widely and people who knew the man posted his photo and stories and anecdotes about him and it was very touching. So I think I did a lot of good. |
