Help getting into Dota 2.

Date: February 17th, 2014 10:21 AM Author: Tripping Up-to-no-good Antidepressant Drug Dysfunction Younger bro and his bros are tryingto get into it , I'm not sure if any are not total shit, so I'm not sure why they chose this but whatevs. I've played a liiiiiitle LoL so I kinda know the very basics but that's it.
Any decent guides that aren't extremely basic tutorials or too advanced/build/hero based?
I'm thinking of running with Lion since he seems straightforward and helpful, and like in a pinch I could use him to solo mid lane and learn that. |

I know Lion isn't meant for mid but in the low levels we'll be playing I've heard he could be just fine at it, at least up to try out and learn that role a bit before I learn another hero. I'm not planning to use him specifically for mid, probably a support role, but like I said I'm pretty sure these kids all are noobs and we won't even get into proper roles yet. Otherwise once you have the basics, which will put you ahead of a surprisingly large % of the playerbase, practice helps more than any guide. |
