Endless requests for personal time, vacation time, sick time, "special" time, and all the rest: Can I have tomorrow off? I need to use my paid time. I need time off. Did you see the time I submitted? I might need the next day off, too. Can you approve it? Should I submit it again? I'm probably going to need the next day off, too. I'm taking Monday off, and I can't work Tuesday. Didn't you see the time I requested? I submitted it last night. I can't come in today, I'm using sick time. I won't be in tomorrow, either. Did you approve my vacation? I need some time off.

Good to take time off if you have to actually show up to work.

We have multiple employees on "leave of absence" at any given time. One shrew has been "on leave" for months.

it's crazy how often people get away with these unreasonable demands for time off IME. i'm always like, 'wtf? you can just ask for complex scheduling arrangements involving months worth of 'time off'?'
