It comes from the old AutoAdmit phrase “Will it fit in my ass?” The famous thread title progressively mangles it into “Will’t fit’n m’ass? Will’n m’ass? WLMAS!” A later reply in that same thread explicitly says “WLMAS from will it fit in my ass.” The thread dates back to December 2016 and became a long-running board meme/persona.
NSAM — much less clear. It refers to the poster the board also calls the “imgur pumo”, but I could not find evidence of a single original/canonical expansion. In a January 2026 thread someone literally asks what NSAM stands for and gets the joke answer “Patriot.” In a May 2026 thread titled “What does NSAM stand for?”, posters offer several joke/backronym answers; the most plausible board-specific one is “Nutty schizophrenic Asian male.” Other replies give deliberately absurd alternatives such as “National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile,” which makes it clear the thread is riffing rather than documenting an official definition. |
