Like some of the things that look like conspiracies look that way because cops/government just want to do the quickest/easiest thing to Close Cases. They look less incompetent when they just stick confidently to their first gut instinct and never change their minds, so that’s what they do.
You could also extend that to anything where the government is involved, Charlie Kirk’s tranny assassin doing shit that makes no sense, fake discord messages, gun left in the bushes.
Also, the thing that they do where they NEVER comment on an ongoing investigation is 180. Then later when the case is closed they also don’t tell you shit and it’s nbd. |
